I honestly don’t think I’m the only one - male or female - that was appalled by the overly sexual and misogynist commercial recently aired. If you haven’t seen it, head on over to the ol’ Youtube. It features a scantily-clad woman who is being overly-provocative. For a few seconds the only thing the commercial focuses on is her cleavage.

Hardee’s, what on Earth does this have to do with your burger? Why is it that you are selecting women who are barely clothed to sell your product? What is this achieving other than egging on the disrespect of women that commercials and advertisements like this provoke?

This commercial has nothing to do with their product and is highly offensive to everyone, not just women.

If your product was any good, you wouldn’t need sexism to sell it. Everyone please come together to make Hardee’s cut this commercial and publicly apologize for demeaning women in such a horrible way. It’s time we stood together against advertisements like this and tell the industry enough is enough!
