Paulbots tend to also be Randites, even if they haven’t read the actual source material, and Randites are well-known all-around asswaffles. Economic libertarianism is like some kind of festering brain-eating virus that makes people forget how humans actually interact with each other in real life and instead think that they’ve just discovered this BRILLIANT FUCKING AWESOME IDEA in which being a complete douchecanoe to absolutely everybody else means YOU WIN EVERYTHING. Whenever someone says that they agree with economic libertarianism, I give them the serious hairy eyeball and a very wide berth, because I know that sooner or later they’re going to say something that manages to be jaw-droppingly stupid and blisteringly hateful at the same time, and then I’m going to have to restrain my natural impulse to beat them over the head with furniture.
